Description
Manufacturing double-sided foam tapes and heavy-duty VHB tapes requires applying highly viscous Hot-Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (HMPSA) to thick, compressible substrates like PE and EVA foam. The VIVA Foam Tape Coating Machine utilizes a specialized hot-melt slot die or heated roll coating mechanism capable of applying very thick adhesive layers (up to 150 microns+) in a single pass. Because hot-melt requires cooling rather than drying, the machine replaces long ovens with powerful chilled-water cooling and laminating nip drums.
